Biosealer® TC
What is the Biosealer® TC?
In biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes, systems and their connections often have to be separated, which comes with a great deal of risk. We solved this problem back in 2005 with a proprietary development and launched a device on the market which automates this process, making it more stable and secure.
The second generation of the established Biosealer® TC is currently available on the market. The device is a proprietary development and is produced in Schachen, near Lucerne, tested according to high quality requirements and delivered to our partners ready to be sold.
For marketing and sales, we have entered into a longstanding collaboration with the German pharma and laboratory supplier Sartorius Stedim Biotech.
The separation of thermoplastic hoses
The Biosealer® TC is a fully automatic heat sealer for the separation of thermoplastic hoses used in biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes. The tried-and-tested thermal sealing technology allows for the separation of hoses with an external diameter of from ¼” to 1″.

Functionality of the Biosealer® TC
The dry or fluid-filled hose is compressed between two heating elements. The heat and the compression force create a uniform seal in the hose section. The generated seal can be cut and separated using scissors.
